A Fully Private Rooftop Sauna
Overlooking Namba & Minami
Just a 3-minute walk from Nippombashi Station, Dotonbori Sauna offers exclusive views of Namba and Minami from the rooftop of a building along the Dotonbori River.
It is one of the few private saunas in Osaka where men and women can enjoy the sauna together, available as a fully private rental.
An entire floor is reserved for one group only, allowing you to relax in complete privacy.

Rooftop Sauna
Barrel Sauna
The sauna is heated to approximately 100°C.
Self-service löyly is available, so you can control the humidity yourself.
Self-löyly is possible, and humidity can be adjusted.
You can use store-designated aromas.
A sauna timer that displays intervals from 15 to 5 minutes, allowing you to enjoy extended sauna sessions.
Cold Bath
A cold water bath made from domestic Japanese cypress. Its natural fragrance soothes both body and mind. The water temperature is adjusted seasonally for optimal comfort.
Deckchair
Deck chairs that allow you to relax and unwind while lying back and gazing at the sky. The backrest can be adjusted to four different positions.
We also offer foldable reclining chairs by Lafuma, a renowned French brand.
The chair can be smoothly adjusted up to a 127-degree recline—said to be the most relaxing angle for the human body— allowing you to experience an exceptionally comfortable, almost zero-gravity seating position.
Resting Area
A relaxing lounge area furnished with comfortable sofas.
Next to the sofas, you’ll find a shelf with a complimentary coffee machine and a refrigerator stocked with drinks available for purchase.
Power outlets are conveniently located beside the sofas and are free to use.
The space can also be sectioned off with vinyl curtains and rope-style shades, allowing it to be used like a private room.
The coffee machine is free to use. Enjoy freshly ground coffee at any time.
Tableware and cutlery in the drawers are available for your use. Please feel free to use them.
Drinks in the refrigerator are available for purchase. Orders can be placed through our mobile ordering site. For details, please refer to the information sheet located in the lounge area.
Powder Room
A powder room with shower booths is available. Sauna hats, ponchos, and towels are provided here. Hair irons are also available upon request at check-in.
Complimentary towels, ponchos, and other items are prepared on the shelf according to the number of guests.
A variety of amenities are provided to ensure a comfortable stay.
Sandals are available for use within the private rooftop area.
Shower Booth
The shower booths are equipped with overhead showers. You can pour cold water over your head for a refreshing experience different from the cold water bath. Handheld showers are also available.
Restroom
The restroom is located on the rooftop floor, allowing you to use it without concern for other guests.

During löyly, the steam efficiently spreads inside the sauna, maximizing warmth and enhancing the overall sauna experience. Large Public Bath
Relax in the Public Bath After Your Sauna Session
After enjoying the sauna, guests may use the large public bath at the attached ryokan free of charge.
There is no time limit, so please take your time and relax at your leisure.
