House Rules House Rules
To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, Dotonbori Sauna has established the following rules.
Guests who do not follow these rules may be refused entry or asked to leave. Thank you for your understanding.
- Guests must be aged 12 or over. Children aged 11 and under are not allowed.
- Nude use is not permitted. Swimwear must be worn at all times in the private area.
- Standing on bathtub edges, climbing fences, throwing objects from the rooftop, or any dangerous behavior is strictly prohibited.
- Before entering the cold bath, please rinse your body or shower first.
- Please follow all staff instructions immediately.
- When your session ends, staff will begin cleaning even if you are still inside. Please leave on time.
- Operations may be suspended suddenly due to bad weather, such as strong winds.
- The facility is not responsible for injuries or accidents, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the facility.
Guests Not Permitted to Use the Facility
The following guests will be refused entry.
* ID may be required.
- Children under 12
- Minors without adult supervision
- Guests who are heavily intoxicated
- Members or affiliates of organized crime or antisocial groups
- Guests instructed by a doctor not to bathe
- Guests who are not feeling well
Guests with acute illness (especially fever), active tuberculosis, cancer, severe heart disease, respiratory, spinal or kidney failure, bleeding disorders, skin diseases, or other progressing illnesses; severe anemia; suspected infections; pregnancy or possible pregnancy; high blood pressure; diarrhea; immediately after surgery or extreme fatigue; bleeding injuries; or heavy menstruation are not permitted to use the facility.
Guests Who Should Take Extra Caution
Guests with high blood pressure, diabetes, history of stroke, heart disease, or other chronic illnesses should be especially careful with long hot‒cold bathing.
Avoid using the sauna within 1‒2 hours after a full meal.
Alcohol Policy
Drinking alcohol during sauna use or entering the sauna after drinking is strictly prohibited.
If you choose to drink, please do so after your sauna session.
Guests judged to be heavily intoxicated will be refused entry.
If intoxication is confirmed after entry, guests will be asked to leave immediately and future use will be prohibited.
No refunds will be issued in such cases.
Smoking Policy
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the building and in the rooftop private area.
Smoking is allowed only in the designated smoking area on the 1st floor lobby.
Guests will be charged for damages caused by smoking in non-smoking areas.
Accessories
Wearing glasses, watches, or accessories in the sauna may cause burns or deformation. Please remove them before use.
The facility is not responsible for any accidents caused by wearing accessories.
Valuables
Please manage your valuables at your own responsibility.
The facility is not responsible for loss or theft.
